| Synopsis: |
Bodie's girlfriend, Inger, is a teacher of a school for the
children of diplomats and rock stars. She meets an ex-pupil at an
all night café who is a heroin addict, and in trouble. Inger
calls Bodie, but the addict runs for it when he sees her on the
phone.
The addict is followed by Gary, his pusher who realises that he
has been put at risk, so he shoots the addict dead. Rather than
throw the gun in the river, Gary disposes it over a garden
wall.
When he goes back to fetch the gun, two boys, both pupils at
Inger's school find the gun, and one of them is hurt when it
accidently goes off. Gary witnesses this, and chases the other
boy (Tony) to retrieve the gun.
Tony escapes, calls an ambulance for his friend and returns to
school. He is tracked down by Gary and kidnapped from a school
football match. Tony plays dead, and when Gary leaves the car,
Tony escapes. Gary catches up with him again, and persuades him
that he only wants to help the boy as he himself accidentally
killed someone when he was 14.
The pair then go to Gary's flat, but the organisors of the heroin
racket arrive to ensure that the gun has been disposed of. They
capture Gary and Tony and tie them both up. Tony has left their
names on the bathroom mirror though, and when CI5 turn up they
have a new lead.
Tony manages to free himself from his bonds and is persuaded by
Gary to free him also. Whilst attempting to escape though Gary
turns on Tony and almost kills him, getting him to reveal where
he hid the gun.
Inger finds the gun amongst a box of prop guns for the school
play. She goes to show her CI5 minder but finds him dead. Gary
then confronts her and she shoots him.
